Small eruption reported at Indonesia’s Semeru Volcano

October 19, 2013INDONESIAA pilot observed a small ash eruption this morning at the Semeru Volcano. The volcano had recently been very calm, but this could be a sign it is getting more active again. Semeru, or Mount Semeru, is a volcano located in East Java, Indonesia. It is the highest mountain on the island of Java.
